Overload Protected SMD SSR from Teledyne.

The SC63 is an SMT 6pin plastic packaged DIP commercial solid-state relay featuring built in short circuit and overload protection.

The relay, incorporating a power FET switch, is rated at 60VDC, 1Amp, will self protect against both short circuits in the load and high current overload conditions. The relay will also self protect when turned on into a short circuit.

Once tripped, the relay will remain off until the input is cycled. In the event the fault condition is still present the relay will simply trip off, and continue to do so until the fault is removed.

Additional features are optical isolation between input and output, an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 C.

In addition to the SC63 SMD part there is also the C63 with an identical electrical specification and dimensions offering through hole mounting.
