Teledyne’s GRF342 Low Energy Consuming Relay when it comes to Signal Integrity, Repeatability and Lifetime

With reliability and lifetime, established for military subminiature relays, has Teledyne Relays very successfully built up a high end family of RF relays, being used whenever lifetime, high number of switching cycles, excellent RF parameters and repeatability over lifetime are needed.

The enhancement in the design of these relays has been accomplished in their surface mountable versions released as the GRF family. GRF relays have an additional ground shield and are characterized by microwave cavities allowing higher frequencies and moving RF parameters up for reduced insertion loss, increased isolation and lower return loss.

Teledyne's low energy consuming GRF342 family is very well accepted and has become standard in high speed digital applications. The combination of signal integrity, repeatability and lifetime are essential factors for switching applications in Test and Measurement equipment and high volume semiconductor manufacturing test environment.

The GRF342 is a latching relay and covers frequencies from DC to 5 GHz. At 4 GHz it delivers an isolation of 30 dB and an insertion loss of 0.35 dB. Propagation delay of pulse edges is better than 61 pico seconds.
