New from Teledyne Relays - 100ADC MOSFET Power Switches in an Industry Standard Package.

100A and 20A rated DC Power Switches have been added to the growing range of Industrial Solid Sate relays from Teledyne.

The relays are packaged in a plastic UL94V0 rated industry standard hockey puck, with an operating temperature range of -40 to +90ºC, input to output isolation of 4000Vrms and 1GOhm isolation resistance. A protective cover is available as a factory supplied accessory.

The relays are designed for the direct switching of power DC loads including heating, UPS, stepper motors, automotive, transportation, battery back-up systems, industrial & process control, motor starting and also reversing using an H Bridge configuration.

Rated at 200VDC, both relays use the very latest generation MOSFET technology for ultra low on-state resistance of <165mOhms for the 20A part and <25mOhms for the 100A part, low off state leakage current of typically 0.1mA for the 20A part and 0.25mA for the 100A part and low control current consumption of 25 to 42mA.

An innovative triggered driver design ensures fast power switching with 0.6mSec ON time, and 0.1mSec OFF time for both relays. Additionally the control input has LED status indication, and the fast switching times give low conducted and radiated disturbances meeting NFEN55011, and low power transients in the load.

The relay conforms to IEC60947-1 with UL, cULUS and VDE approvals pending.
