NEW Overload Protected 6 Pin DIP Relays from Teledyne.

Teledyne Relays announce the new ZD20CF and ZD24CC plastic packaged 6pin DIP solid-state relays for commercial, aerospace & military applications.

Both relays offer an extended operating temperature range in addition to short circuit and overload protection, reliability screening options and more. These features make the relays ideally suited for aerospace & COTS applications in addition to a wide range of commercial and industrial uses.

Rated at 2A, the ZD20CF provides short circuit and overload protection up to 33VDC, preventing damage to the load as well as system wiring and components.

The ZD24CC is rated at 500mA, and provides short circuit and overload protection up to 60VDC, additionally featuring trip status feedback, providing a signal when tripped.

The relays will protect against a short circuit or overload condition by detecting the fault, tripping the relay off and remaining off until the fault condition is removed and the relay input is cycled once (off/on). This returns the relay to normal operation. Cycling the input on the ZD24CC following a trip also returns the status feedback to the 'Not Tripped' condition as well as returning the relay to normal operation.

Both relays have optical isolation, with a dielectric strength of 1500VAC and insulation resistance of 10 MOhms. Additionally a low off state leakage current gives high off state impedance values.

Available as through hole (ZD20 & ZD24) or surface mount (SZD20 & SZD24), the relays measure 9.31mm x 6.35mm x 4.45mm maximum height above the board.

Process limits for through hole parts are +250 C (max) for 10 seconds(max), and for surface mount in infra-red or convection heating systems +235 C (max) for 10 seconds(max).
